Deep Impact Mission Week is a Mission Trip that requires preparation.
Mission Trips require a servant’s heart, a willingness to be stretched, an adaptable spirit, and a desire to allow God to work in you and through you to accomplish mighty things for His glory. Mission Trips don’t always go as planned, don’t always place us in the most luxurious of conditions, or always meet our expectations.
But Mission Trips do afford us the opportunity to say “YES” to God before we even know the questions… “Yes” to long days, “Yes” to hard work, “Yes” to being uncomfortable, “Yes” to sharing Christ in word and deed, “Yes” to seeing God work in ways we never expected, and “Yes” to opening our hearts to God’s call upon our lives to fulfill the Great Commission!!
Deep Impact is not just a week of missions, but rather a movement of students and adults willing to be equipped and mobilized for a life of serving On Mission!!
Dates: July 1-6
Where: Charlotte, NC
Who: Students who have completed 7th-12th Grade
Cost: $355 ($100 Deposit due April 28; Full payment due June 3)
Ministry Preference Descriptions
Work with children in a variety of settings, sharing the gospel through VBS/Backyard Bible Clubs and other activities.
Use acts of kindness to share the gospel. Examples: cleaning yards, water distribution, prayer walking, cook for first responders, etc.
Light construction/service projects to help someone in need. Examples: debris cleanup, painting, landscaping, minor repairs, etc.
Work with seniors in the community. Examples: nursing homes, senior centers, life enrichment centers, and special needs adults.
Use sports and other methods to share the gospel in the community at parks, rec centers, etc.
